Frank Archer, a devoted husband, brother, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 16 following a battle with heart and liver disease. Archer was a distinguished talent in the field of music, achieving the highest grade nationally on the American Guild of Organists' Choirmaster's Exam in the 1980s. He served as the organist and choirmaster at St. Elizabeth's Church in Ridgewood, New Jersey, for over two decades, and was a professor of music at Caldwell College during that same period. He later served for 12 years as the Director of Choral Activities at his alma mater, Hampden-Sydney College.
