Fairfax County, Virginia is launching a new junior golf tournament series this summer, providing structured competition and a season-ending championship for players ages 10-18 across six local courses. The Golf Fairfax Junior Tournament Series (GFJTS) will feature nine events, with players competing in five to qualify for the Series Championship at Laurel Hill Golf Club.

The details
The GFJTS will feature nine tournaments across six Fairfax County golf courses, with players competing in five events to earn points towards the Series Championship. The series is divided into three age divisions: 10-12, 13-15, and 16-18. Top finishers at each tournament will receive awards, and division champions will be recognized as the top junior golfers in the county.
- Registration for the GFJTS opened on April 1, 2026 and runs through May 31, 2026.
- The first tournament in the series will tee off on June 23, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Jefferson District Golf Course.
