Average gas prices across Virginia rose by 33 cents this week to $3.84 a gallon, according to AAA, while the average price of gas across the country is up by 24 cents this week to $3.95. Prices jumped in several local communities, including Danville, Pittsylvania County, Martinsville, Henry County, and Halifax County.
