Danville Firefighter Honored as February Superstar of the Month

Tommy Barber, a Battalion Chief with the Danville Lifesaving Crew and Fire Chief with the Mt. Hermon Volunteer Fire Department, has been named the February Superstar of the Month by WBTM and Danville Dental Associates. Barber was nominated by his niece, Zoe Winnes, for his 35 years of dedicated service and selfless actions, including helping a stranger who had fallen and broken her leg on his day off.
