Three standout football players from GW Danville High School in Virginia have announced their plans to continue their playing careers at the college level. Donovan Reaves, Antonio Matos, and Josh White were all multi-year starters for the Eagles and earned all-district and all-region honors during their high school tenures.

Reaves was an all-district and all-region selection as a junior and senior, and also excelled as a wrestler, holding the school record for fastest pin. He will continue his football career at North Carolina Central University. Antonio Matos, or 'Tony', was a versatile three-year starter who played free safety, strong safety, and wide receiver. He maintained a 4.0+ GPA and was a team captain as a senior. Matos earned all-district, all-region, and 2nd team all-state honors, and will play at the College of William and Mary. Josh White was a two-year starter at cornerback and also contributed as a slot receiver and on special teams. He was a 1st team all-district selection and will continue his career at Barton College.
