After a dominant weekend series against Boston College where the Virginia Tech Hokies outscored the Eagles 42-7 with three run-rule victories, sophomore third baseman Jordan Lynch and junior pitcher Emma Mazzarone have been named the ACC Player of the Week and ACC Pitcher of the Week, respectively.

The details
Over the series against Boston College, Lynch blasted three home runs and drove in eight RBIs, including a two-homer game in the 11-0 victory on Friday. She also had a career-high five RBIs in the 17-3 win to close out the series. Mazzarone started games one and three of the series, throwing a combined seven innings with 13 strikeouts. She has not allowed an earned run in her last four appearances spanning 18 innings of work.
