Monthly Asian Night Markets Coming to Annandale

Neon District DMV to host food, entertainment, and cultural events starting March 28

Mar. 21, 2026 at 1:57pm

A new organization called Neon District DMV is hosting monthly night markets in Annandale, Virginia featuring Asian food vendors, entertainment, and cultural performances, beginning on March 28. The events will be held 3-9 p.m. at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space and will include 30 food vendors, 10 non-food vendors, traditional Thai dance, Thai kickboxing and massage demonstrations, and more.

Why it matters

The new night markets aim to bring the local Asian community together and showcase the diverse culinary and cultural offerings in the Annandale area, which has a large Asian population. The events also fill a void left by the discontinuation of similar night markets previously held at the Masonic lodge in Annandale.

The details

The first DMV Asian Night Market on March 28 will feature food from Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, as well as non-food vendors and cultural performances. Neon District DMV has secured parking at the Annandale Post Office and United Baptist Church, and is working to get permission to use the Giant grocery store lot as well. Future night markets are scheduled for April 11, May 23, June 27, and monthly through November 21.
