Tooele native and former Buffaloes softball player Blake Hervat has been named the first-ever head coach of the Deseret Peak High School softball team. After a successful stint as a volunteer assistant coach for the Grantsville High School softball team, where she helped the squad win four region championships and three state titles, Hervat is now tasked with establishing the culture and identity of the brand-new Deseret Peak program.
