Box Elder, West Field softball pitchers shine in wins

Brinklee Hadley threw a three-hit shutout to lead West Field High softball past rival Fremont in a 3-0 final, while Maycie Moss pitched a complete game one-hitter with two unearned runs and six strikeouts as Box Elder jumped out to an 11-2 lead after two innings and claimed a four-inning win at Northridge.

Hadley walked two and struck out one in the circle for West Field, while Sessions batted 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. For Box Elder, Moss struck out six batters, and the Bees were led at the plate by Hall, who went 2 for 2 with a home run, a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored, and Blackmer, who went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, two RBIs and four runs scored.
