Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost'
A variety of the Brunnera plant, also known as Siberian bugloss, that is prized for its shade tolerance, disease resistance, and attractive foliage.
What they’re saying
“The Jack Frost brunnera, it's also called Siberian bugloss. Brunnera has been around for a long time, kind of in the background. For a long time there was the green leaf variety that was planted in shaded areas for, almost like a filler. They're fairly easy to grow, they're slow to spread and eventually will form a ground cover. Jack Frost has kind of risen to the top as one that is resistant to scorch, it's disease and bug resistant and it's just really one that's nice to use in more shaded areas.”
— Taun Beddes, Co-host of The KSL Greenhouse Show (KSL NewsRadio)
“It's leaves are so beautiful. I mean, it's probably more white than green. The flowers are more like forget-me-nots.”
— Maria Shilaos, Co-host of The KSL Greenhouse Show (KSL NewsRadio)
