Park City Mountain is beginning construction on two major projects to improve guest access and transportation at Canyons Village. The first is a new 10-person gondola called the Canyons Village Skyway that will connect the Lower Village to the Canyons Village Forum and surrounding base area. The second is the final phase of the Canyons Village Parking Structure, which will consolidate surface parking throughout the village once complete.

The details

The Canyons Village Skyway gondola will feature enclosed 10-person cabins with floor-to-ceiling windows and a mid-station to provide improved access for homeowners, lodging properties, and guests. The final phase of the Canyons Village Parking Structure will add three more levels, consolidating surface parking once complete. During construction, Surface Lots 2 and 4 will be available and free, with shuttle and walking routes to the upper village.

• Construction on both projects will begin on March 30, 2026.
• The Canyons Village Skyway gondola and final parking structure phase are scheduled to open for the 2026-27 winter season.
• The Cabriolet Lift, which the new gondola is replacing, will operate for the last time on March 29, 2026.
