While many travelers to Utah head to the state's famous national parks, the area around Salt Lake City offers a wealth of scenic destinations that are just a short drive away. From ski resorts like Park City, Deer Valley, and Alta to natural wonders like Antelope Island and the canyons surrounding the city, there are plenty of outdoor adventures to be had near the capital.
