Carbon Boys' Volleyball Team Competes in North Sanpete Invite

The Carbon High School boys' volleyball team traveled to Mount Pleasant, Utah over the weekend to compete in the North Sanpete Invitational tournament. Despite playing six games in two days, the Dinos were unable to secure a victory, moving their season record to 1-6.

The North Sanpete Invitational provided an opportunity for the Carbon boys' volleyball team to gain valuable experience and competition against teams from across the state. While the Dinos struggled to earn wins, the tournament will help prepare them for the remainder of their season as they look to improve their record and compete for a spot in the state playoffs.
The details
In their first match, the Dinos fell to the Highland Rams from Salt Lake in straight sets, 25-13 and 25-11. Carter Warburton led Carbon with three kills, while Collin Mills-Bishop had two service aces and Grant Mathis recorded six assists and four digs. The Dinos then faced the Timpview Thunderbirds, losing in two sets despite more competitive play. Warburton had eight kills and six digs in the loss, while Dylan Black collected 10 digs and Kyler Orth earned nine kills. Carbon's final match on Friday was against the Cedar Reds, where they again fell in straight sets, 25-19 and 25-16.
