Carbon falls to Grand County Red Devils 7-6 in close game

The Lady Dino softball team traveled to Moab to face the Grand County Red Devils on Wednesday, looking to get back in the win column. Despite taking a lead multiple times, the Dinos ultimately fell to the Red Devils 7-6 in a close game.

The details

The Dinos took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Grand County tied it up. Carbon regained the lead 3-1 in the second, but Grand County tied it again at 3-3. The Dinos went up 5-3 in the fourth, but Grand County tied it again at 5-5 in the fifth. Grand County then took a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the fifth, and despite a late rally by Carbon in the seventh, the Dinos fell short 7-6.
