The Lady Dino softball team from Carbon High School traveled to Manti, Utah to face the Templars in their first region game of the 2026 season. Despite an early 1-0 lead, the Templars scored 5 runs in the bottom of the first inning and went on to win the game 15-4 in 5 innings.

Carbon took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning when Aleece Ardohain doubled and Brailee Peterson drove her in with another double. However, Manti responded with 5 runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead. The Lady Dinos scored 3 more runs in the 3rd inning on a 3-run homer by Sienna Alderson, but Manti added 3 more in the 3rd and 5 in the 4th to win 15-4 in 5 innings.
