Carbon came out strong, jumping ahead with two early runs to take the lead into the third inning. Manti responded with a run to cut into the deficit, and after a few quiet innings from the Dinos' offense, the Templars erupted in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs to take a 6-2 advantage. The Dinos refused to back down, rallying in the next inning to push three runs across the plate and pull within one. In the top of the seventh, the Dinos completed the comeback, tying the game and setting up a dramatic finish.
