The Carbon High School boys' tennis team opened their 2026 season with a 4-1 victory over the Manti Templars on Tuesday. The Dinos won four of the five matches, with Zander Carrillo, Oliver Steele, Judson Varner/Carter Abbott, and Rylen Hatch/Aiden Pilling all earning wins for Carbon.

The doubles team of Judson Varner and Carter Abbott cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Trace Johnson and Cole Wintch. Rylen Hatch and Aiden Pilling had a tough first set but pulled out a 7-6(7-5), 6-0 win over Dylan Hirschi and Don Wood.
