Tounde Yessoufou scored a game-high 27 points as Baylor led nearly wire-to-wire in an 86-67 rout of visiting Colorado in a Big 12 Conference matchup. Obi Agbim contributed 19 points and six assists, while Cameron Carr added 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Bears, who shot 52.8% from the field and made 10 3-pointers. Jalin Holland scored 12 points for the Buffs, but leading scorer Isaiah Johnson managed just 10 points on 3-of-13 shooting.
Why it matters
The win gives Baylor its second straight victory as the Bears look to climb the Big 12 standings, while Colorado's struggles continue with the loss dropping them to 3-7 in conference play.
The details
Baylor led for all but 1:36 and built a 24-point halftime lead, thanks in large part to a 13-2 run early in the first half. The Bears shot 52.8% from the field, including 10-of-24 from 3-point range, and committed just nine turnovers. Colorado, meanwhile, struggled mightily, shooting only 40% and committing 10 turnovers, nine of which came in the first half.
