The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Kyle Najm Chris, entered Zwink Elementary School on Tuesday after another visitor failed to secure the first set of doors. While he was able to get through the first set of doors, the school's double-door security system prevented him from accessing the hallways and approaching the students. The school district waited until Wednesday evening to notify parents about the breach.

He then left the building and drove away in a dark blue Dodge Charger. Police later arrested Chris at his home, located about 4 miles from the school.
