Powerful UNC Bears softball first baseman Amailee Morales on Monday was named the Big Sky Conference player of the week. The award is the first of the season for Morales, who had a .556 batting average, a .600 on-base percentage and .667 slugging percentage in five weekend games in San Antonio, Texas.
