Candace Aguirre, assistant director of liaison programs and residential cohorts at Angelo State University, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Education Reach for Texans (ERT). Aguirre will serve a three-year term and help facilitate the sharing of ideas between higher education and child welfare officials to implement campus-based support programs for students who are alumni of foster care.
