Ewing worked as a Foreman for Star Enterprise and was a deacon at the 4th Ave Baptist Church in Port Arthur for many years. He was particularly passionate about woodworking and spent many hours dedicated to his craft. Ewing is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, and two grandsons. He is survived by his wife, four children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as other loving family and friends.
