The No. 9-ranked Barton Community College Women's Tennis Team had a successful day at the Stueder Contractors' Cougar Tennis Classic, defeating Fort Hays State University 6-3 and Colorado State University Pueblo 8-1. The Cougars won multiple doubles and singles matches to secure the victories.

The details
Against Fort Hays State, Barton won two of the three doubles matches and then sealed the victory by winning four singles matches. In the second match against CSU Pueblo, Barton swept the doubles play and won five of the six singles matches. The wins moved Barton's record to 5-0 on the season.
