Communications & Power Industries (CPI) will showcase two of its latest antenna technologies, the Starfield tactical antenna and the Stardust gateway antenna, at the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition 2026 in Washington, DC. The Starfield is a portable, quick-deploy antenna designed for high-pressure conflict situations, while the Stardust is a multi-orbit, constellation-agnostic gateway terminal engineered for the needs of modern satellite constellations.

The details

The Starfield tactical antenna features a hybrid carbon fiber/aluminum superstructure engineered for lightweight performance. It can be assembled tool-free in under 20 minutes and provides global LEO, MEO and GEO transmit and receive capabilities in L-Band through Ka-Band frequencies. The Stardust gateway antenna is available in 2.4m and 4.0m diameters (up to 5.5m upon request) and is designed for superior performance at Ka-Band and Q/V-Band frequencies. It includes an embedded controller, digital receiver, and integrated RF electronics that can be upgraded for future networks.
