West Texas A&M's men's and women's basketball teams both defeated the University of Texas-Dallas in a Lone Star Conference doubleheader at the First United Bank Center. The Lady Buffs won 68-61, led by a strong performance off the bench from graduate transfer Kenadee Winfrey. In the men's game, the Buffs forced 26 turnovers and were led by Brock Mishak's 20 points in a 75-63 victory.

On the men's side, the Buffs forced 26 turnovers and were led by Brock Mishak's 20 points, along with 19 from Fontaine Williams and 15 from Zach Brown.
