The inaugural Special Olympics Texas Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge in Paris, Texas has been scheduled for March 1, 2026 at the Paris Aquatic Center. The event raises money for Special Olympics programs by having participants take a chilly plunge into icy water, with all funds going towards year-round sports training, health, inclusion and competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Texas.
