The No. 3-ranked Midland College baseball team suffered its first losses of the season, dropping both games of a doubleheader against Weatherford College. Meanwhile, the Midland College softball team bounced back from a previous sweep by defeating Luna Community College in a doubleheader.

In the baseball doubleheader, Weatherford College won the first game 14-2 in five innings and the second game 19-9. The Chaparrals were held to just five hits in the first game. In the softball doubleheader, the Lady Chaps won 10-2 and 11-0 in five-inning, run-rule games, taking advantage of five Luna CC errors in the first game.
