Midland Confirms Appointments to City Boards and Commissions

The city of Midland, Texas has confirmed various appointments to several of the city's boards and commissions after months of delays. New members will be joining the Airport Planning and Development Board, Oil and Gas Advisory Committee, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Planning and Zoning Commission, with some existing members also being re-appointed to new terms.

The details

For the Airport Planning and Development Board, Hank Hudson will be replacing Frank Kisner, who chose not to serve another term. The Oil and Gas Advisory Committee will see Alka Kumar fill a vacancy for a petroleum engineer position. On the Parks and Recreation Commission, Joy Paulson of Keep Midland Beautiful will fill a vacancy, while four other members were re-appointed. For the Planning and Zoning Commission, Joshua Garza will assume the vacant spot left by the departure of chairman Abraham Bejil, who is now on the Midland Development Corp. board. BreAnna LaFoy has been appointed to fill Garza's previous alternate position.
