National Sorghum Producers (NSP) has opened applications for its 2026 board of directors, seeking producer leaders who are passionate about advancing the sorghum crop and helping guide the direction of the industry. The board plays a critical role in advocacy and strengthening relationships to benefit sorghum farmers nationwide.

The details
Candidates should be NSP members with an interest in advocacy and fundraising, and a desire to move the industry forward. No prior board experience is required. The NSP Nominating Committee will review submissions and bring forward nominations for consideration and election at the August board meeting. Selected members will serve a three-year term beginning October 1, 2026.
