UCF Upsets No. 11 Texas Tech Behind Big Games From Themus Fulks, John Bol

Themus Fulks scored 21 points, including a key jumper in the final minute, to lead the UCF Knights to an 88-80 upset win over the No. 11 Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday. UCF dominated the interior, out-rebounding Texas Tech 35-23 and outscoring them 21-4 on second-chance points. Knights center John Bol had a career-high 14 points and 10 rebounds, while JaMichael Stillwell added a double-double of his own.
Why it matters
The win marked UCF's third straight conference victory, the first time they have done that since joining the Big 12 three years ago. It was an impressive upset over a highly ranked Texas Tech team and shows the Knights are emerging as a force to be reckoned with in the conference.
