The Lockney Lady Horns softball team traveled to Sudan, Texas on Tuesday to take on the Lady Hornets. The Lady Horns jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Lady Hornets responded with a 7-run second inning to take a 7-2 advantage. Lockney cut the deficit to 7-4 in the third, but Sudan exploded for 14 runs in the bottom half of the inning to pull away. The Lady Hornets went on to win the game 23-4 in the fourth inning.
