Lone Star College-University Park's student-run literary arts magazine, 'Uproar,' has earned national recognition as a REALM First Class recipient, the highest distinction in the National Council of Teachers of English's 2025 Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines program.

Student editors lead the selection and revision process, and about 30 contributors were chosen for this year's edition, many earning their first publication credit.
