The Phillis Wheatley Metropolitan Alumni Association (PWMAA) will unveil and dedicate a new commemorative Forever stamp honoring the pioneering 18th century Black poet Phillis Wheatley (Peters). The stamp ceremony will take place at Phillis Wheatley High School in Houston, Texas on February 26, 2026.
