Billies Tennis Team Battles Tough Opponents on Road Trip

The Fredericksburg High School varsity tennis team were able to fine-tune their lineups amid some heavy-hitters and rain during the Hill Country Classic in Mason on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14. The team made two semifinal appearances - one in girls doubles and one in girls singles. The junior varsity squad also continued their strong performance, winning four of the five divisions at a recent tournament.

The previous week, the varsity team had placed second at the Puncher Shootout tournament. The junior varsity team continued their strong play, winning four of the five divisions at the Warrior Invitational in Ingram on February 9.
