RS's celebration of Engineering Week 2026 showcased the company's commitment to inspiring the next generation of diverse STEM leaders.Fort Worth TodayRS, a global industrial product and service solutions provider, celebrated Engineering Week 2026 by hosting an on-site event for members of the Young Women's Leadership Academy (YWLA) in Fort Worth, Texas. The eighth-grade students from the YWLA's Girls Excelling in Math and Science (GEMS) program toured RS's high-tech warehouse and Technical Solutions Center, participated in an engineering activity, and engaged with RS leaders across various roles.

The details
The YWLA students toured RS's 520,000-square-foot warehouse, learning about advanced technologies like automated guided vehicles, order retrieval systems, and robotic packaging. They also visited the RS Technical Solutions Center, where they participated in a hands-on engineering activity led by Senior Application Engineer Samatha Massingill. The event concluded with a panel discussion featuring RS leaders from various departments, including Product & Supplier Management, Value-Added Solutions, and Brand & Proposition Marketing.
