Wanda Williams, a 94-year-old resident of Floydada, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Carr's Chapel Cemetery in Floyd County. Williams was born on March 6, 1930 and was a longtime member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as her brother.

She married Edmond Aldine Williams on May 28, 1948, and they had three children together - Linda Lee, Sarah LaNell, and Edmond Aldine Jr. (Dean). After her husband's passing in 1996, Wanda met Cobb Gilly and they enjoyed 24 years together before his death in 2020. Wanda was a member of the Methodist Church and is survived by her daughter Sarah (Kim) Hinsley, son-in-law Michael Hinsley, 6 Hinsley grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, as well as her brother James Huckabee.
