The Oklahoma Sooners softball team continued their hot hitting, blowing out New Mexico State 18-6 in a five-inning run-rule victory on Friday. The Sooners scored four runs in the first inning and then broke the game open with an eight-run third inning, highlighted by a three-run double from Gabbie Garcia. New Mexico State made it close with a three-run homer in the bottom of the third, but Oklahoma pulled away late with home runs from Kendall Wells and Ailana Agbayani.
