Quest Events, a leading provider of event rental and scenic services, announced a strategic organizational realignment to operate its rental and scenic businesses as distinct, focused platforms. The move comes after several years of integrating acquired companies like EventWorks and Marquee Event Rentals under a unified structure. Quest determined that the greatest growth and profitability opportunities lie in managing the rental and scenic operations separately to better address their differing market dynamics, customer engagement models, and operating economics.
Why it matters
The realignment reflects Quest's commitment to positioning each of its brands - Quest Events, Drape Kings, A & D Scenery, and EventWorks - for long-term success in their respective segments of the live events industry. By aligning each business with its distinct profit model and market demands, Quest expects to improve operational performance, strengthen brand identity, and enhance client responsiveness.
The details
Under the new structure, Quest Events will operate separately from EventWorks, which will include the former Marquee Event Rentals and Marquee operations. The company will maintain dedicated operational and sales leadership for each brand to provide sharper focus and client service specialization. Locations in Texas, Kansas City, Nashville, Atlanta, and Birmingham will be aligned accordingly.
