The North Texas Innovation Alliance (NTXIA), a nonprofit consortium of municipalities, agencies, corporations, and academic institutions, is hosting its first-ever Reverse Pitch Mixer on February 9 at Pegasus Park in Dallas. The event aims to spur innovative solutions to regional problems by allowing startups to pitch their technologies directly to public-sector leaders and ecosystem partners.
Why it matters
The Reverse Pitch Mixer is designed to create new pathways for bringing bold innovation to public sector challenges, moving ideas from concept to positive impact and creating tangible change in North Texas communities. It brings together problem-solvers and decision-makers to address complex issues like infrastructure resilience, mobility, sustainability, public safety, and equitable access to services.
The details
Selected startups will have the opportunity to present their solutions in a 'lightning pitch' format to public-sector leaders and ecosystem partners. NTXIA is seeking targeted, practical, and deployable solutions in three categories: smart infrastructure, transportation, and sustainability. For public-sector leaders, the event offers a chance to explore new approaches without long procurement cycles, while for startups, it's an opportunity to align their technologies with real-world challenges.
- The Reverse Pitch Mixer will take place on February 9, 2026 from 4:30-7:00 PM.
