The Brownwood Lady Lions left 10 base runners stranded and were unable to push across the go-ahead run in the bottom of the seventh inning despite loading the bases with one out, falling 2-1 to District 6-4A rival Glen Rose on Thursday night.

Why it matters

The loss was Brownwood's third one-run defeat in district play, following extra-inning decisions of 12-11 against Stephenville and 8-7 against Brock, all at home. The Lady Lions are now 2-4 in district and looking to bounce back against Mineral Wells.

The details
