The Brownwood Lady Lions softball team routed the San Angelo Lake View Maidens 13-1 in their final game before the start of District 6-4A play. The Lady Lions scored four runs in the second inning, seven in the third, and two more in the fourth to invoke the 10-run mercy rule. Every player in the Brownwood lineup recorded at least one hit as the team finished with 12 hits. Amarrea Thomas, Hanah Campos, and Adyn Lucas led the way with two hits and a combined seven RBIs.
