The event offers $500 for first place and $250 for second place, with all artwork offered for sale by silent auction.

The Paint-Off is open to all Texas residents 18 and older, who must supply their own materials and equipment. Artists will work in any two-dimensional medium, with their surfaces inspected and stamped before the event begins at 10 AM. Completed works must be submitted by 3:30 PM, with the first and second place winners announced at 4 PM. A 25% commission will be collected on all artwork sold through the silent auction.
