The Brownwood Lady Lions remained undefeated at the Killeen softball tournament on Friday, defeating reigning District 24-5A champion Bastrop 8-6. The Lady Lions scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning to take control of the game, led by RBI doubles from Adyn Lucas, Carlee Burks, and Kaydence Allen. Brownwood overcame an early 3-0 deficit, scoring four runs in the bottom of the first to take the lead. The Lady Lions' pitching duo of Kaydence Allen and Brenda Allen allowed just one earned run over five innings.
