Denice Bessent

A third-grade teacher at Northwest Elementary in the Brownwood Independent School District. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Howard Payne University and holds certifications in English Language Arts and Reading (4-8) and Generalist (EC-4). This is her fourth year with Brownwood ISD.

Megan Carrillo

A Life Academics Teaching Assistant at Coggin Elementary in the Brownwood Independent School District. She has pursued studies at Howard College and holds an Educational Aide certificate from the Texas Education Agency. She began as a substitute teacher with Brownwood ISD in 2020 and was hired for her current position the following year, making this her fifth year with the district.
