Passion UA has announced the signing of Azbayar 'Senzu' Munkhbold to its Counter-Strike 2 roster on loan from The MongolZ. The 19-year-old rifler joins the team alongside Argentinian AWPer Santino 'try' Rigal, who has replaced Håkon 'hallzerk' Fjærli on the starting lineup. Passion UA, owned by footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko, has struggled in its first two Tier 1 events of the 2026 season and is hoping Senzu's addition will help turn things around.

Why it matters

Senzu is a highly regarded young talent who has found success at the highest levels of Counter-Strike esports, winning the Esports World Cup in 2025 and finishing second at the BLAST.tv Austin Major. His addition to Passion UA's roster could provide a much-needed boost as the team looks to climb the Valve Regional Standings and secure a spot at the upcoming IEM Cologne Major.

The details

Senzu was recently placed on the bench by The MongolZ shortly after the team topped the Valve Regional Standings in October 2025. He now joins Passion UA on loan, with the organization yet to reveal which player will make way for the Mongolian rifler. Passion UA is hoping Senzu's experience and skill can help improve the team's recent performances, which have seen them fail to win any matches at BLAST Bounty Season 1 and IEM Krakow 2026.
