The green flag for IndyCar's first ever Java House Grand Prix of Arlington drops this Sunday, as 25 of the world's best drivers are scheduled to take a 70-lap tour of the city's entertainment district, zipping around AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field at blinding speeds. One car in particular will feature a Texas A&M-themed livery driven by Felix Rosenqvist of Meyer Shank Racing.
Why it matters
This is the first time Texas A&M University has been featured as the main sponsor on an IndyCar, giving the school significant exposure during the inaugural race in Arlington. The university previously served as a helmet and car sponsor for Rosenqvist in 2025, but this is their biggest partnership to date in the sport.
The details
The paint scheme was announced via Meyer Shank Racing's social media, with the No. 60 Honda decked out in maroon and covered in Texas A&M sponsorship stickers. Rosenqvist, a 34-year-old Swede, will be looking for his second career IndyCar victory this Sunday after winning at Road America in 2020. The 2.73-mile Arlington circuit features 14 turns and the longest main straightaway of the season.
