Led by standout shortstop Dee Kennedy, the Wildcats outscored their opponents 57-22 over the four-game stretch, showcasing a balanced and powerful lineup that overwhelmed opposing pitchers.

A junior shortstop for Kansas State, Kennedy had a dominant weekend at the plate, driving in 15 runs and hitting .500 with a 1.857 OPS. He was named the Golden Spikes Award x D1 Baseball Player of the Week as well as the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week.
Carson Liggett
A redshirt senior pitcher for Kansas State, Liggett came in to pitch in relief and tossed five scoreless innings to secure a 7-3 win over UConn after the Wildcats had fallen behind early. Liggett utilized a strong breaking ball and powerful high fastball to generate multiple swings and misses.
