Two athletes from the Brownwood High School Lions powerlifting team have qualified for the upcoming Texas High School Powerlifting Association state meet. Isaac Gonzales placed 4th in the 181-pound weight class, while Adolfo Torres finished 4th in the 148-pound division at the recent regional competition in Abilene.
