The Chapman Lady Irish won their fourth straight game with a 16-point victory over county rival Abilene. Chapman had four players finish in double figures, led by Avery Baer's 11 points. The win keeps Chapman in the top 4 of the 4A West Standings. Meanwhile, the Abilene Cowboys snapped a 10-game losing streak with an 8-point win over the Chapman Irish. Abilene was led by Kolt Becker's game-high 17 points.

The Chapman Lady Irish used a 23-3 run bridging the second and third quarters to take control of the game against Abilene. The Cowgirls led 16-14 with 2:11 left in the first half, but Chapman closed the half on a 9-0 run and then opened the second half on a 14-3 run to build a double-digit lead. The Lady Irish led by as many as 18 points in the third quarter. For the Abilene Cowboys, they scored the first 9 points of the game and never trailed, leading by as many as 13 in the second quarter. Chapman was able to pull within 4 points in the fourth quarter but could not complete the comeback.
