ORNL Employee Campaign Tops $1M Again

Employees raise over $1 million for East Tennessee nonprofits and community organizations.

Employees of the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory and its managing contractor, UT-Battelle, raised $1,066,820 during their 2025 ORNL Gives campaign in support of nonprofits and community organizations across East Tennessee. The campaign featured employee-led fundraisers, volunteer hours, and in-kind support.

ORNL employees contributed more than $878,970 in 2025 through individual giving and 80 employee-led fundraisers. UT-Battelle, ORNL's managing contractor, added $180,144 in support of those employee efforts. ORNL employees also contributed significant volunteer time and in-kind support, registering over 1,745 hours through Volunteer East Tennessee.
